Boss Stage is a very important card in the Generaider strategy. This card has solved two main problems of the Generaider deck:

  • How to summon Generaider monsters quickly?
  • Where does Generaider source monsters to pay costs?

If your opponent adds a card from the deck to their hand (by search effect, draw, or even a draw during the draw phase) you can summon 1 Generaider monster from the deck to the field.

The majority of Generaider monsters are level 9 monsters and cannot be summoned themselves, so you cannot easily summon them from your hand. Additionally, most Generaider monsters have trigger effects and effects that can be used during both players' turns (quick effects). Boss Stage not only solves the problem of summoning Generaider monsters for you, but also pulls them directly from the deck onto the field, opening up many directions for you thanks to the flexibility of Generaider cards.

The summoning effect from the Boss Stage deck is limited to each copy of the Boss Stage . If you replace another Boss Stage , you can reuse this effect one more time.

Most Generaider monsters, when wanting to use effects, need to sacrifice a number of Generaider monsters or monsters of the same type ( Harr , Utgarda , and also two important monsters in the strategy that require 2 monsters to kill). pay costs). Of course, they can sacrifice themselves, but this does not make your strategy sustainable.

Boss Stage also has another effect, this effect is limited to only 1 time/turn on other cards of the same name. If you summon a Generaider monster during your opponent's turn, you can activate this Boss Stage effect, summoning as many Generaider Tokens (level 4) as possible to your field. Harr and Utgarda can take advantage of this wealth of tokens without sacrificing themselves to sustain disruption each turn from these monsters. However, the tokens generated by the Boss Stage will be destroyed during that end phase.

Because it is an environmental spell card, Boss Stage becomes more important in the Generaider deck because it can help you get a stable source of resources every turn. Cards like Terraforming or Metaverse are always used in strategies revolving around environmental spells.

Boss Fight not only helps you pull the Boss Stage onto the field straight from the deck, but can also help the Boss Stage meet the requirements for activating effects immediately afterward.

Stage Bosses are rarely able to use effects during your turn, especially in the first turn. Once your opponent knows you are using Boss Stage , they will not rush to use the effects that add cards to your hand because during the draw phase of their turn (cannot be refused) Boss Stage can be used. effect.

One Day of Peace both protects both players from taking damage for 2 turns and can also make the Boss Stage usable during your turn.

Boss Room can not only help Boss Stage meet the conditions for using effects, but can also protect your other Generaider cards. Specifically, if you use the effect of the Generaider card if your opponent uses effects that are detrimental to you (disable, destroy, remove, etc.), Boss Room has the right to turn that effect into “Each player draws 1 card” (cost is discarding 1 card from hand). Boss Room can only use this effect once per turn.

Because Boss Room is a trap card, if you want to use it, you must wait one more turn to face this card first. In return, this is an eternal trap so the Boss Room can be reused every turn.

Some effects from the Generaider can help the Stage Boss activate its effects, which also accidentally adds a card to the opponent. But at the same time, those effects also help your Droll & Lock Bird meet the requirements to activate the effect, both players will not be able to add any more cards from the deck to their hand that turn.

The bosses of the deck
Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms Harr, Generaider Boss of Storms
Frodi, Generaider Boss of Swords Frodi, Generaider Boss of Swords
Nidhogg, Generaider Boss of Ice Nidhogg, Generaider Boss of Ice
Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusion Utgarda, Generaider Boss of Delusion

Generaider monsters all have effects that allow you to control only 1 monster with the same name on the field.

Most Generaider monsters have effects that allow you to interact during your opponent's turn at the cost of sacrificing 1 or 2 Generaider monsters or monsters of the same type as that Generaider monster. You can only use this effect on monsters of the same name once per turn.

Harr has the effect of subtracting cards from your opponent's hand if they add a card to their hand outside of the draw phase. However, the card must be left in the grave according to the opponent's choice and unintentionally helps them create more grave resources, so you need to consider carefully before using this effect of Harr .

Harr is a top choice of the deck because this monster is an omni negate of Generaider.

Nidhogg is a wyrm-type Generaider monster that can negate the summoning of enemy monsters.

Utgarda can remove 1 card from the field (with target) per turn.

Frodi can destroy a number of monsters on the field equal to the number of sacrifices, but your opponent will then draw back a number of cards equal to the number of monsters destroyed on their field.

Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses, Generaider Boss Quest, Mardel and Generaider Boss of Light (Supports increasing the connection of the deck)
Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses Loptr, Shadow of the Generaider Bosses
Generaider Boss Quest Generaider Boss Quest
Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light Mardel, Generaider Boss of Light

With only 1 Boss Stage , it seems that the deck is not strong enough if there is only 1 boss on the field. Loptr can summon 1 more boss from the deck to the field. Loptr is a level 4 monster so it can easily be summoned normally.

The tokens created by the Boss Stage only stop at 1500 ATK. During your opponent's turn, Loptr can increase all Generaider monsters on your field, including tokens and Loptr himself, by 1000 ATK. and 2500 ATK is not a small number for a level 4 monster.

Mardel is always an important component in Generaider decks or decks of plant monsters. This is a monster that can help you get any Generaider card into your hand when normal/special summoned (except Mardel ). This monster is also used in plant monster decks because Mardel can also add a plant monster to his hand, not just Generaider cards.

Boss Quest filters the cards in your hand for you by revealing to your opponent 1 Generaider monster in your hand into 2 Generaider spells/traps from the deck, then you must return that monster to the bottom of the deck. Boss Quest minimizes the chance of losing cards in your hand as well as having to reset monsters to the deck only when the resolve effect is successful, making this card deduct as little as possible.

Having 2 Generaider monsters in your hand is really not good at all because most Generaider monsters are very difficult to summon. Thanks to Boss Quest , your deck can rest assured when encountering this situation.

PHOTON HYPERNOVA has released a new support to help Generaider have an additional solution to solve this problem.

Vara is an extender that can be summoned from the hand or grave by discarding another Generaider card from the hand to the grave, however Vara will be removed if she leaves the field after using this effect. Vara has another effect: if this card is special summoned, you can special summon 1 more Generaider monster from your hand or graveyard.

Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire, Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom, Jormungandr and Generaider Boss of Eternity (Other factors)
Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire Naglfar, Generaider Boss of Fire
Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom Hela, Generaider Boss of Doom
Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity Jormungandr, Generaider Boss of Eternity

Naglfar can protect your Generaider cards from being destroyed by sacrificing a Generaider or Beast-Warrior monster in lieu of that destruction. This is also a solution to protect your Boss Stage from threats from Twin Twister , Harpie's Feather Duster , Ghost Ogre .

Hela is a Zombie monster that revives Generaider monsters from the grave that can be used during either player's turn.

Jormungandr can make your Stage Boss use effects on the field. This monster can also steal cards from the opponent's hand as materials. This monster's ATK and DEF increase by 1000 for each available material.

Laevateinn (support from PHHY) reduces enemy monster ATK/DEF making your Generaider monsters harder to touch. This monster can also summon other xyz Generaider monsters from the extra deck (except Fairy monsters).

Generaider has a gameplay that does not rely too much on extra decks, so Pot of Extravagance or Pot of Prosperity can be suitable choices for the deck. Trias Hierarchia can be resummoned from the grave during either player's turn to apply the bombardment effect. Generaider Tokens are all Fairy monsters that help Trias Hierarchia use effects more effectively.

If Trias Hierarchia uses the summon from grave effect, this monster is removed after leaving the field. Luckily this is also a level 9 monster, you can take advantage of this resource to both have a xyz 9 monster on the field and help prevent Trias Hierarchia from being eliminated so this monster can continue. reuse the effect again.

Generaider depends a lot on the deck's environmental magic cards, so letting the opponent shoot the Boss Stage gives the deck a huge disadvantage.

Evenly Matched Evenly Matched
Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit Ghost Ogre & Snow Rabbit
Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring

Most effects of cards that support the Boss Stage can trigger effects. These cards will often come with card draw effects , Ash Blossom is always the counter to these effects.

Boss Stage 's ability to create tokens accidentally helps Evenly Matched clear your field more thoroughly, you can only leave token monsters behind.

Blue-Eyes White Dragon (Weakness)
Blue-Eyes White Dragon Blue-Eyes White Dragon

The final weakness lies in the Generaider, brick! Even though there is a new support, Vara , the brick rate is still there, you are forced to play a variety of Generaider monsters because each monster performs a separate function for your victory.

Epilogue
