Instructions on how to build and use Floowandereeze - OCG
After introducing and instructing how to build and use the 2 top tier sets, next we will go through the top 3 deck - Floowandereeze. You will meet through penguins and feel the cold winter...
Sections covered in this guide:
overview
For veteran duelists, they will not be too unfamiliar with this line of cards and clearly understand each of their power indicators and how to use Floowandereeze. But you newbies might think, "How strong are these penguins?" Um, after reading this article, you will think again! First of all, about their history.
Floowandereeze is an archetype line of WIND/WATER Winged Beast monsters introduced in Burst of Destiny (OCG & TCG). This is a Normal Summon and Tribute Summon oriented deck designed to slow the pace of the game to your liking. Being able to use a specific effect with each bird will allow you to reduce the game state to a simple effect. Floowandereeze's strengths are its ability to resist, stun, and push the field very effectively. Overall, Floowandereeze is generally underrated and you newbies will not want to skip this article.
And in OCG, you won't want to miss a series like Floowandereeze because of the following two things!
Floowandereeze and the Advent of Adventure (2nd thing)
I know what you will think, "You mean in OCG that this card is exclusive, but now it's all available". Um, but the main point I want to say is, if you build Floowandereeze in OCG, you always have a high chance of getting new cards and powerful supports that other platforms don't have or have to wait a very long time. long. That's always the reason why OCG's strength index is always slightly better than TCG's - always ahead of its time :v
Core Floowandereeze
According to the name of the deck, these main core cards are very strong. Their characteristic is that they are resistant to handtraps. Any 2-card combo of any of the following cards will become your full combo.
Floowandereeze & Robina (x3)
Main Searcher of the Deck, depending on the situation, the purpose of use will be different:
- If you need eviction, search Floowandereeze & Stri
- If you need one of the bosses, search Floowandereeze & Eglen
- And if you need one of these banishes right away? Search Floowandereeze & Toccan
Floowandereeze & Eglen (x3)
Eglen is very important when searching for bosses. Bosses include: Floowandereeze & Empen , Raiza the Mega Monarch or Mist Valley Apex Avian depending on the situation.
Floowandereeze & Stri (1-2x)
Banish opp's rather troublesome boss cards (for example, the golden Eldlich). Combine with Dimension Shifter and Raiza the Mega Monarch to create a loop to clear the field and opp's GY.
Floowandereeze & Empen (1-2x)
- One of the deck's bosses with Spell/Trap search effects and promotes Normal summoning. Regarding the effect that allows Normal summoning any monster, you can build the Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds to prevent opp from Special summoning.
- In addition, in battle, whether you hit or are hit, it still causes the opp monster to have its ATK/DEF stat reduced by half at the cost of 1 card in hand, making it more difficult to destroy.
- And with the final effect, you will feel like it's a floodgate that will make opp's Link team surrender ~~
Always controversial because of its power but you should leave it at just 1 to avoid bricking, after all it's easy to search for it, whether you like it or not.
Floowandereeze and the Magnificent Map (x1)
Map allows for an additional Summon in addition to the regular Normal Summon by banishing a Floowandereeze monster from your deck other than the one you revealed. You will banish Eglen or Robina to start your turn. In addition to being Normal Summoned this turn, you can also block the chain using banished birds in addition to the bird you just Normal Summoned. In other words, you can ensure that your Normal Summon effect is not affected by Ash Blossom & Joyous Spring or PSY-Framegear Gamma or indeed any type of negate that can stop your turn (equivalently). similar to SS or TD).
The Map can also affect the Extra Deck to pull more resources for your boss (discussed later). In general, you will want to max these 3 cards, unfortunately, because they are too strong, they are limited, welp, using 1 and Terraforming is also strong enough.

Floowandereeze and the Unexplored Winds (1-3x)
In essence, it is a great tech so we can cut down the opponent's demon cards without being chained. Its effect also helps you restart your hand if it's too bricked, but in terms of situations, if you have it or too many spell traps in your hand without any monsters to start with, it's also bricked :v the problem is that the You have to have a headache thinking about balancing the amount of cards.
However, here, giving 1-2 cards will be fine because you will have a lot of slots in the deck, especially when the Map is limited. But it also depends on your preferences and the opps you meet, in my opinion, put all 3 in and then if you use bricks too much then put them in the side deck :v
Floowandereeze and the Advent of Adventure (3x)
In essence, it is a searcher , and the searcher always x3 to start combos for you as quickly as possible. What's worth mentioning is that when you search, it helps trigger the banishing effect of other monsters and helps you live super long :v Luckily it's new so you'll be able to use it for quite a while!
Floowandereeze and the Dreaming Town (0-1x)
Dreaming Town allows us to Normal Summon a level 4 or lower Winged-Beast during our opponent's Main Phase. Basically, we can summon Floowanderezezes right during opp's turn or better yet, throw a wind statue onto the field to interrupt one of opp's turns.
Finally, if we perform a Summon chain on one of our bosses and it occurs in the GY when we perform a Tribute Summon, we can banish this card to flip each monster that opp controller. As a result, we can effectively negate any chance our opponent has of Normal Summoning the ability to attack the wind statue. But there are also some problems in using it, so it is necessary and mandatory to only play this card at level 1!

Tech
Mist Valley Apex Avian and Raiza the Mega Monarch (Main Deck Bosses)
Both can use Eglen to search and both trigger the effect every time they land on the field thanks to the sacrifice summon.
- Raiza helps remove cards from the field and from both sides' graveyards. If used correctly with Dimension Shifter, we will have a continuous loop to completely erase GY opp!
- MVAA is a good negate to block in a chain!
Maxx "C" (3x)
Maxx "C" is required because it is difficult for us to access advent in the first place. We need a way to keep up with meta decks as a control deck. Maxx "C" can be banished via Floowandereeze & Stri to maintain control of GY so the Dimension Shifter stays active. 2-3x Maxx C is enough to have in your Main Deck.
Dimension Shifter (2x)
DS is a good choice to pair with Raiza and Toccan, it's just a shame that it has been limited to 2, reducing the ability to use it but in terms of power it is still unparalleled. Basically, you will use DS to fight handtraps, using it like Called By the Grave and extremely effective!
Pot of Extravagance, Pot of Prosperity and Pot of Duality (Pots needed for Deck)
All 3 pots help us dig extremely deep into the deck to get the starter we need for the situations we will encounter. And to be sure, using at least 2 cards with at least 2 copies will help you get more (in addition to starter) BoM, Called, DS to protect your starters.
Extra Deck
Floowadereeze doesn't use many Extra Decks :v that's true, so most of the bosses are in the Main Deck. However, adding an Extra Deck not only allows you to use the Pots but also helps you in some situations. Next, I will suggest a few cards so you can come up with ideas for your Extra Deck
Combo
We also roughly understand what a Floowandereeze set is needed for, now let's take a look at their basic usage first!
Floowandereeze & Robina and Floowandereeze & Eglen (Combo #1)
- Normal Summon Robina to add Eglen.
- Use Robina's effect to Normal Summon Eglen.
- Use Eglen to add Empen
- Tribute Summon Empen by Tributing Robina and Eglen.
- Use Empen's effect as Chain Link 1, with one of the birds as Chain Link 2.
- Add the bird back from the banish pile and add it from the deck to Floowandereeze and the Dreaming Town's hand
- (Your ending stage will change if you already have the Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds in hand or Eglen.
End stage: Floowandereeze & Empen , Barrier Statue of the Stormwinds ( If you started with Eglen ), Floowandereeze and Dreaming Town , and at least 2-3 cards in hand waiting for what you searched.
Book of Moon, Dark Ruler No More and Floowandereeze and the Magnificent Map (Combo #2)
If you go later, you will need a combination of Map and cards like Book of Moon or Dark Ruler No More.
Note : This combo will depend a lot on the cards in your hand and the deck you are facing. If you're facing a very good control and negate deck, it's best to surrender if you don't see an impactful handtrap.
