Instructions for playing and building Tri-Brigade (OCG)
With the latest OCG Metagame, Top Meta lines like Spright, Tears, Branded are gradually disappearing over time... But there are still a few lines that are resurfacing, typically Tri-Bri . Let's go back and see how to build and play this line of cards!
Sections covered in this guide:

In addition, because the card line has not changed much compared to the Master Duel side, 70% of you can still refer to our guide on the Master Duel side here !
Core Tri-Bri
Tri-Brigade Nervall (3x)
As the main searcher of the deck, let's not talk about its first effect because most TriBri have such an effect. What's worth mentioning is the second effect: When sent to the grave, it will give you 1 TriBri monster from the deck, whatever you need it can provide, except itself.
And you should have up to 3 copies to compensate for the lack of 1 Fraktall (due to banlist)
Tri-Brigade Fraktall (2x)
This will be the main vertebra for the TriBri combo. Frak's ability creates more materials for summoning Link by sending itself to the grave. At the same time, you can send Nervall to the grave to provide more TriBri needed in your hand situation. What a great card!
Unfortunately, it is semi-limited...
Tri-Brigade Kitt (3x)
Like Frak, Kitt helps replenish grave materials quite well. You can throw Frak into the grave and then bring Kitt to the grave and bring Nervall down again to quickly refill materials for when you perform the Link summon. An extremely useful card, so it's definitely worth playing multiple copies.
Tri-Brigade Revolt (1-2x)
Can special summon any number of banished Beast, Beast-Warrior, and/or Winged Beast monsters in the grave, but can immediately summon 1 Link Tri-Brigade monster that only uses materials from those monsters. Mainly put Omen on the field to push down the Opp field .
Based on your preference, choose 1 or 2 copies but according to that meta, this card should now be 1 .
Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom (1x)
When there are 2 to 3 Beast, Beast-Warrior, Winged Beast monsters on the field, you should try to summon them to activate the special summoning effect Tri-Brigade from your hand. From there Tri-Brigade that will continue to summon the Tri-Brigade Another link by expelling the Zoodiacs lying in the grave. If this card is sent to the grave, you can add 1 card to the first position of the main deck and then remove 1 card from your hand to the first position of the main deck (1 for 1).
Tri-Brigade Bearbrumm the Rampant Rampager (1x)
Bear's initial effect of calling back a banished monster is nothing worth mentioning, but when Bear is sent to the grave, it will allow 1 additional Tri-Brigade spell/trap from the deck, although it is disabled. Locking in can only call Tri-Brigade monsters, but having Bear also opens up many new combo directions for the deck and makes it simple to get Tri-Brigade Revolt into your hand.
Tri-Brigade Rugal the Silver Sheller (1-2x)
- Rugal's first effect can bring back a monster from its grave to the field during your opponent's Main Phase, that monster's effect is negated and the End Phase can return it to the hand, if Rugal Being on top of Omen is so delicious that we can use Omen's effect to banish 1 card :v .
- The second effect is also quite good, when sent down, the grave will decrease by 300 ATK corresponding to each different type of monster you control. It wouldn't be bad if we could use Rugal and a Beast, Beast Warrior, or Winged Beast monster as ingredients for Omen, thereby activating Rugal's effect.
Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen (2x)
The deck's main monster has the strongest attack power in the deck, and the effect is equally strong when it is specially summoned or a Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast monster is specially summoned and can be banished. appears 1 card on the field and of course the effect is only "one per turn" :v At the same time, if sent to the grave, you can add 1 Beast, Beast-Warrior, or Winged Beast with a level equal to or lower than the total number of Beasts, Beast-Warriors, or Winged Beasts are banished.
Tri-Brigade Arms Bucephalus II (0-1x)
You can also play the version that CAN use this card, which will lean towards pure Tri-Bri (due to the requirement of having up to 3 Spell&Trap in the grave to reach Second). However, in my opinion, the possibility of bringing it to the field is not high. Even though it is strong, it is really strong, but with a Link 5 that requires spells and traps in the grave like that, for now, we will have to wait for more support. You can definitely use this card (although it's true that the card line already exists, but it's not very useful :v)
Tech & Engine
Harpie
Why not change things up and choose an Engine that has taken over many platforms? Harpie is a good match for Tri-Bri due to the same Type. However, Statue is only an option because it has been banned: v has been banned, but you can also put it aside and wait for a later time before using it...
Extra Deck
Infinitrack Fortress Megaclops (0-1x)
A support or can also be called the main boss when the conditions on the field you have enough Zoodiac Xyz. Helps recycle those Xyz and use their effects continuously and continuously. Another plus point is that the attack power is quite high and it is only Link 3.
Salamangreat Almiraj, Hraesvelgr and the Desperate Doom Eagle (Tech)
2 Tech monsters are quite good, when you're stuck, you have a normal Kit or Nervall, then go to Almiraj and start using the general effect when sending to the grave.
As for Doom Eagle, he is a link 3 that knows how to clear the opponent's grave when he knows how to push the monsters they have placed in the grave, like the big dragons of Dragonmaids. In many cases, Doom Eagle will have an ATK of 4800 and fight extremely hard. painful.
Ancient Warriors Oath - Double Dragon Lords (1-2x)
Another great support monster for our Tri-Brigades and Zoodiacs . Let's not talk about the first effect for now, what is worth mentioning is the second effect, because Tri-Brigade all have effs when sent to the grave, so Double Dragon Lords' sending helps us both act on Tri-Brigade 's eff and push one. opp card.
But if you play an Engine like Spright, this is a good tech to both interrupt and give a body to Gigantic Spright .
Combo
Cơ bản
The simplest combo of the Tri-Brigades will start with you having Kerass and Kitt in your hand
- Drop Kitt from your hand into the grave to summon Kerass
- Kitt's effect will activate, sending Nervall to the grave
- Nervall's effect activates, bringing Frak to your hand
- Use Frak to send any monster with it to the grave (your grave is now loaded with approximately 4 monsters).
- Use Kerass's effect to summon Link Ferr first to use the special summon effect if you have another monster in your hand (ideally a Tri-Brigade).
- Assuming you summon 1 Tri-Brigade thanks to Ferr, you can use that monster's effect to special summon Double Dragon Lords for an effect that interrupts your opponent.
- To support the above, you will want to use Ferr, Kerass to bring Rugal to the field (Ferr goes to the grave to draw +1), and so on your opponent's turn, you use Rugal's effect to bring 1 monster from the grave. field, then use Double Dragon Lords' effect to send it back to the grave to activate his interrupt ability.
- OR you can also go to your boss - Shuraig but I think you should wait until the next turn to do so or if you go later, do so to quickly expel the opponent's field.
