You can only use each effect of "S:P Little Knight" once per turn.

Summoning conditions

Summoning conditions

SP has very simple summoning conditions with only 2 effect monsters and does not require a different name.

If you use an extra deck monster as a link material for SP , you can activate this monster's effect (1).

During the entire turn you summon SP , this monster does not create any restrictions on summoning or activating effects on your deck.

The only trade-off when using SP is that you cannot use monsters to directly attack your opponent during the turn you use this card's (1) effect. This doesn't have a big impact at all while you can still combo extremely comfortably and your monsters can still attack the opponent's monsters.

Effects (1)

Content of the effect (1)

SP has 2 effects and each SP effect can only be used once/turn.

Effect (1) can be activated when the SP is Link Summoned and uses Fusion, Synchro, Xyz, Link monsters as materials. This is a "If... you can..." trigger effect so it cannot miss the timing.

You can target 1 card on the field or graveyard of both players, banishing that card.

You cannot use a monster to attack directly after you use this effect (1). But you can still attack directly before!!

This is an extremely good effect that can be used to break the board when going behind as well as create more disruption when going ahead.

I:P Masquerena (Support)
I:P Masquerena I:P Masquerena

With the ability to target both on the field and in the grave of both players, SP creates many mutations in the game, when it can slow down the opponent's combo or be used to circumvent some of the opponent's effects. One of the most common ways for you to summon SP link during your opponent's turn is through I:P Masquerena ( IP ).

SP can be a pretty annoying board breaker when this monster banishes 1 of your opponent's cards (monster, spell, trap). Banished cards will certainly be more difficult to reuse than cards in the grave, so when SP activates effect (1) and targets an important opponent's card, you almost have can get a negation from them!

This effect can be used to deal with cards that are resistant to destruction, cards that can activate effects when destroyed or when they are sent to the grave.

SP can easily banish link monsters summoned with IP (monsters that use IP as summon material cannot be destroyed by card effects).

Most graveyard decks are afraid of meeting S:P
Unchained Soul Lord of Yama Unchained Soul Lord of Yama
Tearlaments Kaleido-Heart Tearlaments Kaleido-Heart
Sacred Fire King Garunix Sacred Fire King Garunix
Salamangreat Gazelle
Salamangreat Gazelle

With the Fire King archetype, using destruction effects is like helping your opponent. With SP , you can easily remove their monsters without fear of Fire King trigger monsters from the grave.

Tearlaments is an archetype with strong gameplay revolving around graves across many formats. The effects that can put your Tearlaments on target or not cannot help you completely solve them. If you keep Tearlaments cards on the field it's not good for you, if you take them to the grave it's not good for you either. With SP , the ability to banish 1 Tearlament monster from the field or grave can prevent the return of Reinoheart , Kaleido-Heart , Rulkallos or prevent Merrli , Havnis , Scheiren from successfully performing fusion summons.

Decks whose gameplay revolves around 1 card are even more difficult to breathe...

Marincess Battle Ocean Marincess Battle Ocean
King's Sarcophagus King's Sarcophagus

With SP's ability to banish Runick Fountain , King's Sarcophagus or other important monster/spell cards on the field/in the opponent 's graveyard, SP is a suitable choice to counter decks whose gameplay revolves around 1 important card. like Runick, Horus, decks using Umi , ...

Effects (2)

Effects (2)

Content of the effect (2)

SP has 2 effects and each SP effect can only be used once/turn.

Your opponent will also have more headaches with this SP effect.

This is a quick effect that can be activated when your opponent activates a card or effect. You can target 2 face-up monsters on the field, including 1 monster on your field, banish both until the End Phase.

An effect can be activated when your opponent activates a card or effect. It's not that difficult to use.

Both of these monsters will be banned, until the End Phase they will return to the field.

This SP effect allows you to optionally target on the field, as long as there is 1 monster on your field. The target monsters must be face-up, of course the SP itself that is activating the effect is also a valid target.

Use a combination of 2 effects of S:P

Combining the effects (1) and (2) of SP , the opponent will be able to lose up to 2 combo cards (if you summon SP link during the opponent's turn) or you can easily hook 2 of the opponent's disrupts with just 1 SP .

If the opponent chains into SP 's effect (1), you can activate effect (2) immediately after, otherwise you can gain 1 of the opponent's cards that were banned by effect (1).

SP also has the additional task of protecting important monsters on your field when effects cause them to leave the field.

It is very important that you can only protect your monsters in the monster zone because SP 's (2) effect cannot target spells/traps on the field.

When your opponent's Baronne de Fleur uses your monster target and effects to destroy them, you can use SP to banish the target and protect it from being destroyed. This can also be used to avoid monster targets from the effects of Kashtira Fenrir, Knightmare Unicorn or Dingirsu .

For large field clearing effects of Raigeki or Evenly Matched , SP can only protect 2 of your monsters. Something is better than nothing, isn't it!

If your opponent activates Baronne de Fleur 's effect to negate the activation effect and destroy 1 of your monsters, you can also use SP 's effect (2) to banish that monster. That monster's effects are still negated, however that monster will avoid destruction. You can use this method to protect your important monsters.
